Mister Mouse Chalkware: Pearlescent Red and Yellow

Mister Mouse goes to town. He put on his pearlescent look complete with topaz rhinestones. Pearlescent paint does funny things on plaster when painted directly on it without clear coating first. The pigment gets partially sucked in leaving only the pearl effect in spots. I like it. Chalkware made in the tradition of 30s carnival prizes, cast from vintage chocolate molds. 6” tall
